The Yale Writers' Conference - Screenwriting Program June 12-June 22, 2012

An intensive ten-day program intended for committed writers at all levels of experience. The Screenwriting Program addresses not only substantive questions of plot and dialogue but technical issues of form and format.

Suzanne O'Malley is a screenwriter and former Board of the Writers Guild of America. She is a Poynter Grant recipient for her work in documentary film. She is the Associate Director of Yale Summer Film Institute, and has taught Screenwriting and Film Studies at Yale since 2007. She has written for Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims' Unit and was an Edgar Award nominee for her nonfiction book "Are You There Alone:?" The Unspeakable Crime of Andrea Yates. She has also been an editor at Esquire and New York magazines.
